Frank Bowman has been involved with coaching
volleyball in South Florida since 1992. He started coaching at his high
school alma mater, Piper High School as the Head JV Coach
for girls volleyball and Assistant Varsity Coach for boys volleyball. From there, Frank spent time coaching various high school programs and
junior clubs around the South Florida area. He was part of the Broward
Community College program for 4 years, the last two hears serving as
head coach for the 1998 and 1999 seasons. Frank coached the Southside
Boys 18 & under team to a runner-up finish at Junior Olympic Nationals,
where 5 of the players were named All-American. Following that result,
Frank took over the Head Boys Coaching responsibilities at St. Thomas
Aquinas High School, where he compiled an 85-17 record, coached 2
Players of the Year, and over 11 All-County selections. Frank is excited
about his new role at Douglas, and has one goal in his sights, the state
